Warehouse Facility Manager

 

General Responsibilities:

The Facility Manager’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to, supporting the assigned market’s retail sales staff and management on all delivery and merchandise issues arising from the assigned facility, maintaining responsibility for all warehouse and delivery operations, ensuring all applicable SOPs are followed, maintaining accountability of inventory accuracy and facility security controls, and enforcing merchandise stocking/handling procedures and standards.  The associate is accountable in the maintenance of customer pickup controls, customer service levels and map locator accuracy and ensures the facility is clean and functional and that all safety programs are followed.  The associate maintains proper department staffing levels through recruiting and interviewing, and directly manages and develops other facility managers and supervisors, along with all other facility employees.  Additionally, the Facility Manager performs any other tasks or special projects as needed by senior management.

 

Qualifications:

  • 7-10 years of facility management experience, preferably in warehouse and delivery
  • Experience in managing 50+ employees, including other managers and supervisors
  • Experience in working with warehousing metrics, goals and P&L statements
  • Must have sound decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Prior experience with Conn’s product is preferred
  • Must have excellent customer service and follow-up skills
  • Equipment operation knowledge/experience is preferred (i.e., forklift)
  • Must be able to occasionally position self to maintain/move product throughout the facility and be able to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time
  • Must be able to constantly work in an open/outdoor warehouse environment
  • Undergraduate degree is highly preferred
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) is a plus
  • High school diploma or GED is required

 

Salary:

  • Commensurate with experience and education

 

Schedule:

  • Full time schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays, with overtime as needed
